Welcome to the website of the Duke International Relations Association (DIRA)! We are an organization on Duke University’s campus that has an overarching goal of spreading awareness of pressing international issues, as well as competing in and hosting various Model United Nations and Crisis Simulation conferences for both high school and college students. We are a quickly growing club on campus, and we are always looking for more people to join our efforts.
DIRA has four main branches: Campus Affairs, Collegiate Conferences, DUMUNC (our high school conference), and DISCon (our college crisis simulation). If you are interested in getting involved with DIRA during your time at Duke as an undergraduate student, graduate student, or faculty member, please feel free to send an email to any member of the secretariat for general information about the club. More information on how to join DIRA will be available as the fall semester begins.
Sincerely,
Emily Bailey
DIRA President 2011-2012
